Thomas Lang

Guest Trainer, Shock & Awe,

What should you write about this gentlemen? It is all said. The Austrian Superman of high performance drumming, residing in LA, has graced us at regular intervals for one of his legendary boot camps or drum clinics. In addition to his work as a touring Drum-Super-Star, Thomas runs his own online school and we are proud to be an official partner.

Ronnie Burrage

Guest Trainer, Jazz

Ronnie Burrage stepped into the jazz scene when he debuted at the age of 9 years old, when the legendary bandleader and pianist Duke Ellington invited him on the stage to accompany him at a performance in St. Louis, Missouri. In the past Burrage was featured on more than 100 recordings and has toured on all four continents from Siberia to South Africa to Japan. Legends, such as Frank Morgan or Pat Metheny have required his versatile talent and skills on the drums.  Nowadays, Burrage is teaching at Westbury College in New York.

Oli Rubow

Guest Trainer, Drums & Electronic

Oli Rubow has gradually built himself a reputation as a skilled and creative performer in the modern club music scene. Interested in music like trip-hop, R&B, house, drum&bass and broken beats, Oli developped his own style of imitating the sound and aesthetic of electronic music, playing usually programmed grooves/loops on his minimalistic acoustic drum set. But it is also the history and the sound aesthetic of electronic drums and drum synthesizers that fascinate him. These days Oli is looking for interesting ways of integrating those old machines, as well as actual computer/software solutions to his drum performance. In addition to his longtime collaboration with bass legend Hellmut Hattler and the lounge pioneers of de Phazz, there have been performances with the Turntablerocker, the Fantastischen Vier, Henrik Schwarz, or Jazzanova.

Stephan Emig

Guest Trainer, Jazz, Latin & Percussion

Stephan Emig combines the conventional drums with the sound possibilities of percussion instruments and electronics to a stand-alone, creative style. He is a member of the internationally acclaimed jazz band triosence, as well as the indie pop act planting robots. As a drummer and percussionist, he is a sought-after sideman at concerts and in the Studio. His references include worldwide tours, concerts, tv and studio work with Hamid Baroudi, Gregor Meyle, the voice of Germany in concert, Stefanie Heinzmann, Klaus Lage, Marquess, and many more. Stephan Emig is lecturer at the Popakademie Mannheim, the College of Music in Osnabrück and at the Music College in Hannover.
